A Comment from one of our listeners:
Hello Bryan and Julie,
Q. What are your feelings towards Timothy Ferris’ book, The Four Hour Work Week? What should a person wanting to start a business take from this book and what should they leave behind? Do you use any of his methods, ie: time management, exporting menial tasks to other countries…etc.
Do you have any other suggestions for reading material?
Timothy Ferris has written a brilliant book about time management and being efficient. A person that has read this book and is wanting to start a business should take in mind that time is money. If something is going to take a long time for you to get the job done than it’s not worth your time. As for your other comment what have I done after reading the book? I have learned to automate much of my life and bulk more task together. I try to write all email responses at one time that is most convenient for me. i also have learned not to let my phone run my life I am very efficient in my ways. I also have learned to outsource parts of my life like data collection or even making plans for when I go out of town. Other material I suggest is on our Suggested Links Page. Seth Godin is one of my new favorite others.

Finally, have you seen Marci Alboher and Timothy Ferris talk on the At Google Talks on youtube? It’s a quick overview of both of their books.
