It was a great pleasure to meet many people at the SobCon08, but one of the more interesting people I met was Kristen King. She works from home and stays dedicated to what she loves, which is writing about the things she loves. She runs numerous blogs including: Inkthinker, Biz Chicks Rule, Lively Women, Meow/Bark/Blog, & L-K Article Challenge.

It was a true pleasure meeting Hagos Mehreteab the Co-Founder and President of Yoonew.com. Yoonew has been on Fox News and in Forbes Magazine. The company allows you to trade futures contracts for tickets to games like the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, etc. Anyone can trade tickets for their favorite teams on Yoonew because “Yoo New” Your team would be in the big game. If you predict your team can make it to the Super Bowl then you can buy a contract at the market price and if they win you get the ticket. You can also protect your investment by selling teams that will not make it to the big game by shorting the team’s ticket to the big game.  (more…)

We want to thank Christian Heine, an entrepreneur from Germany for being on the show and discussing his business with us. Christian was also able to share many valuable pieces of information that would be of assistance to any small business owner. An article that Christian  helped comment on included the consumer debt issues facing Americans. One thing he strongly recommended is to be sure your saving before purchasing and not relying on plastic to get you out of the whole.
